The Flying Pig Community Scholars Program, which operates under the umbrella of the Flying Pig Marathon, issued $20,000 to 24 high school student athletes around Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky on Thursday. The recipients were honored at a special ceremony at Music Hall.

The scholarship program began in 2018 and started off as a single $2,500 award. The scholarship will have committed $1.32 million toward the education of 66 students from the area, as of this fall.
