Get swept back in time this holiday season with Victorian Christmas Tours of Newport’s East Row. The East Row tour will showcase “seven private historic homes — six of which have never opened to the public — and the beautifully restored Gen. James Taylor Mansion, originally built in 1815.” After touring this mansion, explore the other six homes, which include Queen Anne, French chateau, Gothic Revival and Italianate architecture styles, all decorated in their holiday best. Noon-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. $18; $15 in advance.
