Unrelenting storms bring potential for mass flooding in the Cincinnati area today and the rest of the week.

After yesterday’s tornado warning, the Queen City continues to be struck by inclement weather. Yesterday, more than 180,000 Duke Energy customers lost power due to the storm, with over 100,000 people still affected by outages. And today’s weather isn’t letting up either, with some local areas projected to reach 4 to 6 inches of rainfall, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS also extended a flood watch in the area through the evening, and another group of storms from Illinois is expected to hit the area from 2 to 7 p.m.
