Bush until his resignation last year, will appear jointly appear at Northern Kentucky University. The odd couple will give a lecture entitled, “Governing in America: A View from the Inner Circle.” If attendees are lucky, Rove might provide insight into his special band of using smear tactics as a campaign strategy or elaborate on his role in the outing of CIA undercover agent Valerie Plame. Or maybe he won’t. Either way, the event is part of the ninth annual NKU Alumni Lecture Series and includes a VIP reception at 5 p.m., before the talk at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and $35 for NKU alumni, faculty and staff. Tickets for the lecture and the reception, which includes a chance to hobnob with the pair, are $100. Get details, register online and find nearby bars and restaurants here.
