Ohio State University has produced some of the best players in college football history, which makes the existence of Mark Rea’s new book, The Legends: Ohio State Buckeyes; The Men, the Deeds, the Consequences, pretty much a no-brainer. Among the “legends” are six Heisman Trophy winners, including the award’s only two-time recipient, Archie Griffin (1974 and ’75), and the school’s first-ever winner, Les Horvath (1944). Rea, whose previous book was The Die-Hard Fan’s Guide to Buckeye Football, signs The Legends at Joseph-Beth.
