Greater Tuna at the Covedale Center

Greater Tuna at the Covedale Center

If you hail from a small town, you’ll recognize the shenanigans of the oddballs who populate this tried-and-true comedy. Two actors portray 20 characters, male and female, young and old, in Tuna, the “third smallest town in Texas.” Even if you’re not from somewhere with no traffic lights and one radio station, you’ll be amused by the Covedale Center’s production of this affectionate satire, full of quick wit and quicker costume changes. Greater Tuna and its sequels are among the most produced plays in American theater history; they’ve kept people laughing for more than three decades.

Through Feb. 15. $21-$24. Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, 4990 Glenway Ave., Covedale, 513-241-6550, cincinnatilandmarkproductions.com.
