[PHOTOS] Scenes From Cincinnati’s ‘No War on Venezuela’ Protest
Organized by the Cincinnati branch of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the protest was part of a national day of action with similar demonstrations in cities across the U.S.

Around 50 people gathered outside the John Weld Peck Federal Building in Downtown Cincinnati on Saturday for the “No War on Venezuela” protest.
Protestors denounced Trump’s comments on Venezuela, calling for unity and highlighting the importance of grassroots organizing. Speakers also connected the protest to other criticisms of the Trump administration, including its policies on immigration enforcement and U.S.-Israel relations.
The protest featured speakers from local and regional organizations including Werner Lange, chair of the Ohio Peace Council, and Mohammad Ahmad, lead organizer for the Northern Kentucky for Palestine Coalition. Also invited to speak were University of Cincinnati professor Simone Balachandran and Cincinnati Public Schools teacher Kevin Kowal.
