Skyline Chili broke ground Tuesday on a new restaurant in Liberty Township, marking the latest expansion for the Cincinnati-based chain as it deepens its footprint across the region.
The restaurant, slated to open in 2027, will be located at 6945 South Liberty Drive and will seat approximately 100 guests. The location will also include a drive-thru, offering patrons both dine-in and on-the-go options, according to a release.
Local officials, Skyline Chili leadership and community partners attended the ceremonial groundbreaking. In keeping with the brand’s identity, oyster crackers and shredded cheese were sprinkled on the ground to mark the occasion.
The company, through a release, said the Liberty Township location is intended to serve families, commuters and longtime fans throughout Butler County.
Founded in Cincinnati in 1949, Skyline Chili operates dozens of locations across the region.
