Crafting the perfect thriller starts off with nailing down a tantalizing premise and The Loft certainly provides a chilling tease. Five married guys (with Karl Urban and James Marsden included in the mix) enter a secret pact to share a penthouse loft, but complications arise — as they must — when a dead body winds up in the main bedroom and another woman seems to know what was going on in the titular love nest. Expect division among the guys, lots of sexy hard-bodies, and even more dead bodies to pile up in the place, courtesy of Belgian director Erik Van Looy and screenwriters Bart De Pauw (who lands a story credit as well since this iteration is based on earlier versions from this Flemish actor-writer) and Wesley Strick.
