Country Club has opened a new group show, Pictures and Statues, at its Oakley gallery space, where it remains on view through July. Described as an “inelegant approach to the examination of the role of objects in post-digital culture,” the show seeks to build a “point/counterpoint” discussion through the use of objects and images. Among the many artists with work featured are Dan Attoe, Sheila Pree Bright, E.V. Day, Zhang Huan, Juston Lowe, Clare Rojas, SIMPARCH and Hank Willis Thomas.
