There’s a brief stretch every year when Greater Cincinnati collectively decides it’s time to get lost in a corn maze and spend an unreasonable amount of time choosing the perfect pumpkin.
Luckily, there are plenty of places around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to lean into fall.
Farms across the region are opening their pumpkin patches, firing up the hayrides and breaking out the cider doughnuts for the season. Whether you’re looking for a full-blown fall festival with corn mazes and farm animals or just want to pick some apples and pumpkins, here are some Greater Cincinnati farms worth visiting this fall.
Blooms & Berries Farm Market and Garden Center
9669 Ohio 48, Loveland
Blooms & Berries Farm Market and Garden Center goes all-in for fall with its annual Fall on the Farm.
Running Sept. 19 through Nov. 1, the event includes a five-acre corn maze, a smaller kids’ maze, hayrides, a pumpkin bounce pad, low ropes course, play areas and a petting farm with about 40 animals. Visitors can also head into the fields to pick out pumpkins, which are sold separately.
Neltner’s Farm & Event Venue
6922 Four Mile Road, Melbourne, KY
Campbell County’s Neltner’s Farm hosts its fall fest Sept. 25 through Oct. 31.
The farm offers a pumpkin patch, three-plus-acre corn maze, horse-drawn wagon rides, petting zoo, kids’ corn pit, barrel train and model train display. Weekends also bring live music, food, craft vendors and wine tastings.
Niederman Family Farm
5110 Lesourdsville West Chester Road, Liberty Township
The fall festival at Niederman Family Farm runs Sept. 25 through Nov. 1.
Admission covers a four-acre corn maze, hayrides, jumping pillow, tractor play area, climbing hill, pipe swings, duck races, human foosball and plenty of other activities spread across the farm.
Burwinkel Farms
4359 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross
Burwinkel Farms offers fall activities daily from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31.
The lineup includes two corn mazes, a skid maze, sunflower fields and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Weekend visitors can also take a hayride, weather permitting. A small pumpkin from the patch is included with admission.
Shaw Farms
1737 Ohio 131, Milford
A longtime Clermont County fall stop, Shaw Farms combines the pumpkin-patch experience with plenty of kid-friendly attractions.
Visitors can browse pumpkins and seasonal decorations and make their way through a corn maze, with hayrides and other family activities offered during the fall season.
Irons Fruit Farm
1640 Stubbs Mills Road, Lebanon
For people who want apples and cider alongside their pumpkins, Irons Fruit Farm is a classic Warren County option.
The farm’s fall attractions include a pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn maze and petting zoo on weekends, along with its popular cider and cider doughnuts.
Sugar Ridge Family Farm
12273 Green Road, Walton, KY
Sugar Ridge Family Farm gives Boone County families a close-to-home option for traditional fall activities.
The Walton farm offers pumpkins, wagon rides, mazes, play areas and other seasonal attractions during its fall season.
McGlasson Farms
5832 River Road, Hebron, KY
Set along River Road in western Boone County, McGlasson Farms is a good pick for visitors looking for more of a traditional farm-market experience.
The family farm offers apples, pumpkins and other seasonal produce, with its location overlooking the Ohio River Valley adding to the fall atmosphere.
Kinman Farm Market

Kinman Farm Market’s Fall Fest runs Fridays through Sundays from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31.
Admission includes a hayride, corn maze, barnyard, jumping pillow, children’s train and other activities, making it one of Boone County’s larger fall farm experiences.
