Cincinnati Beer Week descends on the Queen City Sunday through June 25. That means a plethora of Tristate bars, breweries, restaurants and beer-based bus tours will turn up the hops and spend seven days celebrating local, regional and national craft beer. In honor of Beer Week, we’ve dedicated this week’s issue to all things booze, featuring local brewers pursuing their passions, a startup aimed at helping budding beer-makers and Beer Week events taking place in Cincinnati and beyond. Each year for beer week, local breweries come together to brew collaboration beers — beers they work on together, combining their different points of view to create something completely unique. This year, there will be five official collaboration beers — yes, five — available on draft at most Cincinnati Beer Week locations. All five will be on tap during a Fantastic Five tap takeover at The Crazy Fox Saloon in Newport from 7-9 p.m. on Monday.
