Lincoln Rhyme is the best forensic detective in the United States. He’s also the creation of best-selling author Jeffery Deaver, whose first Rhyme novel, The Bone Collector, had the crafty detective investigating a serial killer who terrorized New York City. Deaver’s sequel, The Skin Collector, finds Rhyme investigating a killer inspired by the nefarious collector of the first book. This new bad guy tattoos his victims’ flesh with cryptic messages via a tattoo gun possessing poison ink. Deaver is a former Folk singer, journalist and attorney and has written more than 30 novels.
