If you’re looking to stock up on beach reads and support a good cause, you’ll want to check out the 45th annual Summer Used Book Sale happening in Anderson Township this weekend.
The book sale is happening at Nagel Middle School until 7 p.m. Friday, June 20; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 21; and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 22. The event is put together by the Anderson Township Library Association (ATLA), a volunteer group that helps support Cincinnati Public Library’s Anderson Township and Mt. Washington branches. Funds raised from the sale go toward programming and book, audiovisual and special equipment purchases at the branches.
ATLA says the sale is offering over 35,000 items, including books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games and collectibles, most priced between $1 and $5. There is also a raffle, and on Sunday, you can fill a box, provided by organizers, for just $25.
Forms of payment the book sale accepts include cash, credit card, Apple Pay and check. There is also plenty of free parking available.
