Findlay Kitchen, an incubator kitchen in Findlay Market that helps local food entrepreneurs start, grow and scale their businesses, was named Kitchen Incubator of the Year at the 2025 Golden Whisk Awards.

The prestigious Golden Whisk Awards are presented by The Food Corridor, a share-kitchen-management software company, and celebrate the work of shared-use kitchens and their staff. The awards ceremony was held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland last week.

The Kitchen Incubator of the Year Award is given to the finalist that has excelled in nurturing food businesses through “mentorship, access to resources and fostering an environment for growth” and has made significant contributions to its tenants’ success, as well as the local food ecosystem. Findlay Kitchen beat four other finalists from across the country to win the award.

Kelly Shaw, the associate director of Findlay Kitchen, says the award acknowledges the dedication of the incubator kitchen’s staff and its commitment to its entrepreneurs.

“Running a shared-use kitchen is no small feat, and it truly takes a village to keep things moving,” Shaw said in a press release. “From helping someone set up their very first market pop-up at Findlay Market to supporting vendors serving thousands at Taste of Cincinnati, our team consistently shows up, supports and advocates for small businesses every step of the way. It is a privilege to do this work, to make a real impact and to have that impact recognized in such a meaningful way.”
