It seems like summer may have arrived earlier than anticipated. Temperatures this weekend are set to hit nearly 90 degrees in Cincinnati, if you can believe it. Whether you’ll go out and enjoy the weather or stay inside to beat the heat, there’s plenty to do in the Queen City this weekend.
If you’re looking for even more to do on every day of the week, visit the CityBeat events calendar.
Saturday, 2 p.m., Element Eatery, Madisonville
Watch live music, eat great food and drink a lot of beer at this annual festival. With over 30 breweries participating and more than 80 flavors to try, you won’t be lacking for options. If you’re feeling up to it, you can participate in the Sam Adams stein holding competition, too.
Friday – Sunday, Goebel Park, Covington
Speaking of beer, Covington’s annual celebration heralding the return of spring is also this weekend. This iconic festival has plenty of German food and beer on hand, alongside live music and classic traditions like maypole dancing.
Saturday, 1:30 p.m., Sawyer Point, downtown
Tacos, tacos and more tacos await at The Real Taco Fest, which promises “the best tacos in town” from over 20 vendors. Several CityBeat favorites, like Olla, Mazunte, Fusako and Jay’s Nyam & Jam will be in attendance.
LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship
Friday – Sunday, Maketewah Country Club, Bond Hill
The world’s best female golfers are in Cincinnati this weekend to compete in the Kroger Queen City Championship. Tee times vary throughout the day, but kids 17 and under get in free.
Saturday, 2-6 p.m., Rosedale, Over-the-Rhine
One of the biggest outdoor cocktail spots in Over-the-Rhine is skipping the spring celebrations and going straight to summer. Guests can look forward to a coney eating contest, a souvenir photo booth, a DIY tote bag crafting station and a mix of classic and grown-up field day games, including beer pong, flip cup, a water balloon toss and cornhole. The bar is also launching their new cocktail menu on Saturday, too.
Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Riverbend Music Center, Anderson Twp.
Somehow, Kid Cudi is still making music. While I doubt anyone reading this could name a single song from his albums released in 2024, 2025, or 2026—and if you can, more power to you—hearing “Day ‘n’ Nite” live is a tantalizing proposition.
Destination Monarch Butterfly Show
Friday – Sunday, Krohn Conservatory, Mt. Adams
Head to the Krohn Conservatory as staff members follow the incredible journey of one of nature’s most iconic pollinators: the monarch butterfly. Trace their epic migration across the United States and into Mexico, where they find refuge in the Oyamel Fir Forests for the winter.
Friday – Sunday, Aronoff Center, downtown
Direct from Broadway comes this acclaimed, Tony Award-winning musical about the brilliant, passionate and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. See it at the Aronoff this weekend.
Lytle Park Wine & Food Festival
Friday – Sunday, Aronoff Center, downtown
Cincinnati loves a good wine festival, and this is no exception. Plenty of pasta and charcuterie sit alongside a raw bar as you sip world-class wines to your heart’s content.

Washington Park’s favorite vendor market is back. Shop everything from vintage clothing to rare books to unique trinkets at the bimonthly event.
