Louisville-based brunch restaurant Biscuit Belly is moving even farther into the Greater Cincinnati area. After a successful launch of its first area location in Florence, the chain has set its sights on the northern suburbs.

The restaurant, known for its scratch-made biscuits and Southern-influenced breakfast dishes, is opening its second location on Sept. 18 in Mason thanks to local residents Rich and Barbie Kiss.

“Cincinnati has always felt like a natural next step for Biscuit Belly,” said Lauren Coulter, co-founder of Biscuit Belly, in a statement. “It sits right between our Kentucky roots and our growing Ohio presence, and these two restaurants give us the chance to become part of the community on both sides of the river. We can’t wait to welcome our new neighbors and show them just how much fun a biscuit can be.”

The original Louisville location opened in 2019, and the restaurant has since spread across the state with multiple new restaurants.

Biscuit Belly will celebrate the Mason grand opening on Sept. 18 with a ribbon-cutting, a gift card that gives the first 50 guests free Biscuit Belly for a year, free drip coffee all day, and various merch giveaways.
