Hilton
Age: 2 Months Old / Breed: Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louies Legacy
If you want a kitten sized puppy that plays on it’s own but seeks your attention and kisses, then this is your litter!! This litter of Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix puppies are 2 months old and only weigh 2 lbs each.. they are the size of kittens (for now)! Each puppy is confident, independent but loves attention from their people and will come to you with their tails wagging and then roll over on their back for a belly rub:) We did not see mom or dad, so their breed and adult size cannot be guaranteed. This litter has been fostered with a 55lb pitbull mix and they seek her out for attention and affirmation. If she signals to back away with a growl, they respond. They reacted appropriately to children when handled gently. Each puppy is learning to “go potty” outside or use a puppy pee pad. Each also knows that their shared crate is their safe place to go to sleep. Hilton is the shorter of the more Chihuahua looking girls. She has a similar personality to her sister Pawley and is confident but seeks attention from her people. Her little tail wags with anticipation of being picked up. If you are interested in adopting one of these cuties, apply today! Hilton’s adoption fee is $400.

Age: 2 Months Old / Breed: Domestic Short Hair / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Meet Billie! She is 2 months old and the most adorable little girl who loves everyone she meets! Billie is friendly and playful but she loves to cuddle with her foster family on the couch every chance she gets. Billie is fostered with small dogs and children. Shes fully litter box trained. If youre looking to add a wonderful little kitten to your family, please consider Billie! Her adoption fee is $75, or adopt two kittens for $110.
Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.
Photo via louieslegacy.orgCharleston Chunk
Age: 2 Years Old / Breed: Bluetick Coonhound / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Looking for a Southern gentleman with broad shoulders and dreamy brown eyes? Look no further than Charleston Chunk! Chunk the Hunk is a 2 year old Bluetick Coonhound tipping the scales at a meaty 90lbs. This big squish is so sweet and gentle for being so formidable. In fact, at times, Charleston can be a bit scared of men and sudden movements, but we are working to build his confidence. Chunk is a smart boy who is already crate trained and making strides in house training. He does get along with dogs of similar or smaller size, but can be a bit protective of his food and toys. Speaking of toys, Chunks favorite thing to do is to pull out a toy from the toy basket, take it outside, inspect it, and repeat until the basket is completely empty. He absolutely loves the outdoors and sometimes displays his coonhound stubbornness by refusing to come inside. Charles would love a fenced yard where he can hang out for a day of leisure on the veranda, surveying his land, receiving head scratches from his humans. Could Charleston be the Noah to your Allie? His adoption fee is $250.

Photo via louieslegacy.orgTina Fey
Age: 3.5 Years Old / Breed: Australian Shepherd / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Hi, my names Tina Fey! I am a 3.5 year old Australian Shepard mix who weighs around 40 lbs. I am not your typical high energy Aussie, I would much rather lounge around the house or roll around in the grass then go on long walks at the park. I love playing with kids, and I get along great with my foster brother who is a pretty big dog. I am almost completely house trained, and plan on being a pro at it in no time. I love carrying toys around, but I don’t really like to chew on them. If I could live a life where I just got snuggled and pet all day, I would be in heaven. If you’d like to set up a time and place to meet me, go on ahead and apply to adopt me today! Tina’s adoption fee is $250.
Photo via louieslegacy.orgDaisy May
Age: 3 Years Old / Breed: Hound / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
Meet Daisy May! Beagle/hound mix. Daisy has finished raising her babies and is ready to find her human family to give her some love. Daisy likes lots of attention and wants to be by your side wherever you go. Sometimes picky about dry dog food but add in a little canned wet food and she will gobble it down. Daisy appears to be very young, likes to play and snuggle with you at night. In the daytime she would benefit from being an active person as she loves hikes and walks. You may apply at adoptastray.com
Photo via adoptastray.comPeter
Age: 2 Months Old / Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Sex: Male / Rescue: SAAP
If you are looking for a playmate for your current cat or dog, Peter is your guy! He is a handsome, orange tabby, with the sweetest eyes. He loves to play and needs a friend, whether it be a human, dog or another cat. He is not a fan of being alone and will meow when he is wanting attention. He is very passionate about his playtime and may consider all parts of your body a toy at times. So probably best with older children. (My kids who are middle school age and older love playing with him!) He does finally tucker out and will lay next to you for a nap. He is starting to warm up and be more affectionate to us but not a fan of being picked up and held, which is typical for many active kittens! He is a cutie, with a loud purr, that provides lots of entertainment!
Photo via adoptastray.comKya
Age: 2 Years Old / Breed: Mixed Breed / Sex: Female / Rescue: SPCA
Meet Kya! This sweet girl is around two years old, and full of personality! She LOVES toys – chasing, catching, playing! That’s the way to her heart. Treats are always a bonus, too! Since Kya came in as a stray, we aren’t too sure how she’ll be around cats or kids, but she has been excellent with the other dogs she’s met here. Kya would benefit from an active owner who will take her on regular adventures, or one who has a fenced in yard for her to run and play in. Maybe even with a doggy sibling! Her favorite toys seem to be any kind of ball, but she’s not to excited about ropes here. We aren’t sure if she’s ever been house- or crate trained, so you should be open to helping Kya learn how these things and more.. she’s ready to try if you are! Kya is a beautiful and smart dog, and she’s waiting to start her new life with you! Apply to meet this gorgeous girl today!

Photo via adoptastray.comMagnolia
Age: 4 Years Old / Breed: Terrier / Pit Bull / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
Sweet Magnolia had a tough beginning but that doesn’t stop her from loving every person she meets. Magnolia was rescued by a partner shelter who found her with a large gaping wound to her neck. SAAP stepped up and took care of Magnolia’s health. SAAP is fortunate to have a great vet partner who took hours to perform surgery to repair her neck and close a wound that had become infected as well as develop scar tissue on her carotid arteries. After a few weeks of antibiotics and cleaning the site, this magnificent girl is healed. Magnolia’s physical wounds are healed but she still has some mental troubles to overcome. Even though Magnolia has been neglected and let down by humans in the past, this amazing dog wants nothing more than to be with her people. Magnolia has severe separation anxiety and will remove herself from a crate while her people are gone at any cost. She’s destroyed two crates. Magnolia is on a calming medicine that helps her through the day but will likely do best in a home where she is with her people most of the day. Magnolia doesn’t get into things once she escapes the crate, she mostly just wants to get out so she can watch out the window for her people to return – if that means knocking stuff off a table to look out a window, so be it.
Magnolia ADORES kids. Is great with all the little dogs in her foster home, except when a bene bone or nylabone is around, but those are high value treats she gets when it’s quiet time in her crate. She loves kitties but the resident cat is NOT a fan of the full head covering kisses she gives. Magnolia is housebroken, and good on a leash – she will likely never be able to wear a traditional collar again though due to her neck scar. She wears a harness well though and corrects great when other dogs behave like fools while on a leash.
Apply to meet Magnolia and add her to your family today.
Photo via adoptastray.comWilbur
Age: 3 Months Old / Breed: Carolina Dog / Sex: Male / Rescue: SAAP
Wilbur is a Carolina dog with lots of personality, and ears that can hear you snacking from a mile away! This sweet boy is about 18 lbs and growing. He’s doing very well with potty training, but still has a little more work to do. He’s very smart and learned to “sit” in about 5 minutes – he’s highly treat motivated which is a huge plus!!
Great with other dogs – has not been around children, but I would imagine he would do great other than the typical puppy nibbles which we are working on correcting and he’s doing great.

Photo via adoptastray.comLadybug
Age: 4 Years Old / Breed: Welsh Corgi / Pembroke / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
Oh the lovely Ladybug!
This girl had her world turned upside down when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up once she trusts you and then watch out….kisses, and snuggles happen! Now Ladybug is a ladies girl as she is wary of men. She will let them walk her, feed her, give a treat but very wary and will keep the distance when possible. Much different for the ladies where she kisses and plays. Not sure if that is from her background at all. Ladybug likes her doggie friends.
Housebroken and quiet in a crate.
Seems to like kids.
Loves a game of fetch and a squeaky toy! Ladybug is quick and her zoomies are pretty awesome!
Ladybug will make a terrific companion!
Photo via adoptastray.comLeslie Knope

Leslie has been the best mom cat to her 7 kittens- so patient and so loving but is now ready for her forever home. She loves humans and would love to be next to you (not a lap cat). She is a natural hunter and likes to chase toys. Leslie is a little chatty. She will talk back with you and let’s you know of her presence. Leslie needs to be an only cat. She has great litter box habits but would do best with a high sided box as she likes to dig.
