Age: 8 Weeks Old / Breed: Boxer / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louies Legacy
These adorable little 8 week old babies are ready to find forever homes! They came into rescue at 11 days old after losing their mom, requiring them to be bottle fed the first four weeks of life. We did not meet either parent, so we are unsure of their breed or size when full grown. They are guessed to be Boxer mixes and to be a medium size when full grown! These pups have been well socialized with people and other dogs while in foster care, and would love another dog in their forever home to grow up with. If you want to make one of the puppies a part of your family, apply online today!
My adoption fee is $400.

He just got to his foster home tonight and so far we know he is super sweet, great with dogs, very gentle with the cats, seems crate & house trained, and is good on leash. Age: 10 Months Old / Breed: Norwegian Elkhound / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Say hello to Aria. Aria is a spunky, 10 month old Norwegian Elkhound who currently weighs 25lbs. She is currently fostered with other dogs who she enjoys playing, running and cuddling with. She is also fostered with a cat and does great with him too! She is crate trained and prefers to have a crate to relax and sleep in. Louie’s was fortunate enough to rescue her from a horrible situation which explains why she is very timid and shy. Aria is such a sweet, beautiful girl who would really flourish with a family who has another dog, a fenced yard, and patience to help gain her trust. Her adoption fee is $400.

Age: 1 Year Old / Breed: Flat-Coated Retriever / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Hi, I’m Cajun! I am a one year old Flat Coated Retriever that weighs about 65 lbs, and I am ready to join your family. I aim to please so I would love to be the center of your attention, but if I need to share it with another dog I am fully okay with that too. I’m currently fostered with another big goofy dog and we love to play together. I love all the attention that I get at the park from strangers and children and do not understand why everyone doesn’t want to stop and pet me. I am quite the gentleman on the leash and love being called a good boy. I am very food motivated and will listen to anyone that’s willing to give me a treat. Do you like long car rides, going for walks, playing in the yard, or tossing a ball? If you said yes to one or all four of these things I’ll be waiting to see your application! Cajun’s adoption fee is $250.

Photo via louieslegacy.orgIndia
Age: 6 Years Old / Breed: Chihuahua / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
Sweet little India is still patiently waiting for her furever home!
India is a 6yo Chihuahua mix that was recently rescued from a severe hoarding situation. Despite her past, she is the sweetest little lady ever. She LOVES her crate (probably because this is the first time in her life she has had a little spot of her own)! She gets along with our little dogs, but sometimes also likes to have her own space. She completely ignores our cat.
India has made so much progress in the potty training department as well! We are so proud of how far she has come! She would definitely benefit from someone who will be patient with her and continue to create structure and routine that she never had before SAAP.
If you think you could be a good fit for this little cutie, you can fill out an application at: adoptastray.com.

Age: 4 Months Old / Breed: Domestic Medium Hair / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.
They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but these diamonds are ready to be anyone’s best friend! Cullinan, Jubilee, Excelsior, Hortensia, Vargas, and Eureka are a rambunctious bunch who love to play with each other and with toys! Toys that they can bat around and chase seem to be their favorite right now! When they aren’t playing, they like to snuggle up with their mom, Isadora, snooze in their hammock, or find their foster parents for some snuggles and chin scratches. They are very friendly and you will often hear them purring when they are near you. They are about 4 months old and are ready to find their forever homes! If you want to add one (or two!) of these precious gems to your forever family, fill out an application! The adoption fee for one kitten is $75 and the adoption fee for two kittens is $110.
Photo via louieslegacy.orgFloki Alexander
Age: 5 Years Old / Breed: Border Collie / Sex: Male / Rescue: SAAP
Meet Floki Alexander – knows the name Loki (Low Key). He’s a big guy, 70lbs! Loki loves riding shotgun in the car and going on adventures. He’s excellent on a leash, and usually does well with the dogs he meets. Occasionally, he tends to herd other dogs (and even small children) or gets too rough with them, so his new family must help him choose and make friends. Loki is not good with cats, either. But his gorgeous looks, drive for adventure, and quick learning will make him an extraordinary companion for an active adopter. Loki has so much to offer! Could you be his best friend? Apply for him today at www.adoptastray.com

Photo via adoptastray.comJessie
Age: 1 Year Old / Breed: Siberian Husky / Retriever Labrador Mix / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
Oh my, SAAP Nation, you better guard your hearts! My new girl Jessie is here and her baby blues are here to win you over. She is 27.6 lbs of velvety sweetness! Her needs are simple, as the song says, All you need is love! And in her case, some patience for her to warm up to you, and a confident doggo friend to show her things aren’t as scary as she is afraid they are.
Now, I know you’re wondering, what breed of dog is Jessie?? Well the answer is… No clue! She’s a good ole fashioned heinz 57, but I suspect she has some husky, some border collie, maybe a touch of lab… it’s anyone’s guess, but if this little mystery wrapped in an enigma compels you to adopt and get a DNA test done, I would love to know the results!”
Photo via adoptastray.comMaizy
Age: 7 Years Old / Breed: Beagle / Sex: Female / Rescue: SAAP
We call her Maizy but some may call her Crazy. Regardless of what you call this sweet 7 year old Hound mix you would be sad if you didn’t call her yours. Maizy loves to party and would benefit from an active home with a fenced-in yard where she can get rid of some energy. She would definitely benefit from work on basic commands and manners. Maizy loves all people but little people carry food that Maizy will want to eat (very food motivated) so best to be with older kids. Maizy has done well in her foster home with dogs of all sizes but hasn’t met a cat yet but the foster mom says given a little time she will adjust wonderfully.

She is great with the cat in her foster home and loves to cuddle with her humans. Low energy, potty trained, does not need crated. Age: 3 Years Old / Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Sex: Female / Rescue: SPCA
Hi my name is Bebe! It takes me a little while to warm up to you, please be very patient as I am very shy. I would do best in a home that is a little quieter and has places for me to hide. After I warm up to you I will love it when you pet me! I love to play with lazers and toys. If you want to meet me, fill out an application and see me at the Sharonville SPCA!
Photo via spcacincinnati.orgGeorge Weasley
Age: 8 Months Old / Breed: Domestic Short Hair / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louies Legacy
Meet super sweet, 8 month old DSH, George Weasley! George is located in the Western Hills PetSmart cat room, but we learned some valuable information about him before he checked into PetSmart. George is super affectionate with humans and is a purr machine. George was dog tested and was cautiously optimistic toward the 2 dogs he met. Both dogs are low energy and did not chase him. We are unsure about George’s interactions with other cats. Mr. Weasley is litter box trained. George appears laid back but if you give him a toy, he is ready to play hard! George especially loves the toys attached to a string and handle. George Weasley’s adoption fee is $75.00.
Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.
Photo via louieslegacy.orgEdna
Age: 2 Years Old / Breed: Domestic Medium Hair / Sex: Female / Rescue: SPCA
Hello darling! My name is Edna and it is my pleasure to meet you. I’m not sure how I got here but I arrived as a , what do they call it, “stray”. Because of my so titled arrival, these kind people here do not know my history, my likes and dislikes. Therefore, you may just have to take a chance on me. I am a lovely gal…very sweet. I am not sure if I care for canines or not; same goes for children. If you’d like to meet my glamorous-self, fill out an application and ask for the one and only, Edna.
Photo via spcacincinnati.orgFluffy
Age: 6 Years Old / Breed: Mixed Breed / Sex: Male / Rescue: SPCA
This big ol’ haystack is Fluffy. Fluffy is NOT a little guy, despite how he appears in his photo. He’s a medium to large dog, with tons of lustrous locks of hair that will need constant care and maintenance his whole life. He is extremely protective of whoever he picks as his person, and he will be loyal and defensive of his home once he realizes it is his. We would not recommend him to people with a lot of foot traffic through their homes, or homes with young children. We aren’t sure how he feels about other dogs, but as his breed is indicative of, he is going to show a very motivated prey drive with animals smaller than himself.
If you think your life and home would be perfect for this ball of energy and love, please submit an application for him today!
Photo via spcacincinnati.orgRalphy
Age: 1 Year Old / Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Sex: Male / Rescue: SPCA
Oh, hello. I assume this disturbance of my morning playtime was to interview another prospective home? I’m Ralphy. Let me explain my simple requirements: Endless love. Warm lap. Abundant toys. Worshipful adoration of my existence. If there must be a dog, it must be completely subservient to my wishes at all times. As for felines, not a chance, I want all feline related attention. I am all about 3 things, “me, myself and I”. I believe you just may be a suitable companion; thus, i need you to complete an application, be sure to mention me, the one and only, Ralphy.
Photo via spcacincinnati.orgJojo T
Age: 13 Years Old / Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: SAAP
Jojo T is a cute little senior Jack Russel terrier. He loves people and gets along with all dogs big and small, even Ralphie the pesterer. Jojo plays well with others and loves balls, nylabones and antlers because he needs to keep the teeth Dr Stamper left him with. He grumbles like and old man when he is awakened from a nap, but that is his talkie talk and he means no harm he will kiss you through the grumbles. JoJo is crate trained and 80% house trained.
