Oktoberfest Zinzinnati’s festivities kicked off the afternoon of Sept. 19 with the majestic Running of the Wieners race, during which 100 hot-dog-bun-swathed dachshunds competed in a series of races between Freedom Way and Rosa Parks. This year’s winning wiener was a long-haired dachshund named Maple.
