Camp Washington’s community-driven arts center Wave Pool is using its resources to deliver boxes of food to neighbors in need.

The food boxes include fresh produce and canned goods, as well as a piece of art to uplift and connect with members of the community.

“Wave Pool is looking to support and connect with our neighbors now more than ever,” a post on their website reads.

The boxes are delivered contact-free to area doorsteps every Saturday.

Wave Pool says that “with the help of staff and volunteers, we have delivered boxes of fresh produce, canned goods, and local art to 70 doorsteps each week in Camp Washington since we started Camp Delivery on March 21st.”

Signing up to receive a box is easy — just fill out the form on their site.

Sponsoring a box to be delivered to someone else is very easy, too. Just put your email and a contribution amount and pay online.

The sponsor page outlines several different tiers of boxes, including a weekly food box ($20), two weekly food boxes ($40), one month’s worth of food boxes ($80) or eight week’s worth of food boxes ($160). You can also input a donation amount of your choosing, instead.

“This program provides much needed sustenance and nutrition (both physical and mental) through food art and connection during these difficult times. Starting next week we will also be providing precooked and ready to eat meals and items in these boxes,” says Wave Pool in an email.
