Only a square would neglect to honor Pi Day; which is why Science on Tap is hosting their second annual celebration of the mathematical constant in Urban Artifact’s upstairs sanctuary space.
The night features several presentations highlighting the importance of numbers within everyday life and not quite infinite amounts of wood-fired “neo-Neapolitan” pizza Pi from the in-house Wildfire Pizza Kitchen.
Of course, the brewery will be supplying their deliciously sour (and boozy) fruit beers like the banana and raspberry heavy Landline (8.2 percent ABV) and the sour cherry infused beer-champagne hybrid Victory Garden (10.5 percent ABV) on tap.
Get your geek on, because having no parties on Pi Day would be truly irrational. 6 p.m. Thursday. Free admission. Urban Artifact, 1660 Blue Rock St., Northside, facebook.com/urbanartifactbrewing.
