It’s time to dump your ex all over again — or it’s your turn to do the dumping — at a special anti-Valentine’s Day fundraiser in Springdale.
“For those who need a clean slate this Valentine’s Day, Junk King Cincinnati — the region’s leading eco-friendly junk removal company— is bringing all those with a broken heart together to rid their memories of past lovers,” reads an event description.
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 from noon to 3 p.m., Junk King Cincinnati will station a bright red dump truck at the Cincinnati Full Throttle Adrenaline Park. While there, the heartbroken can find some catharsis by tossing their ex’s shit in the dump truck for free.
Each person can throw out two belongings, whether it’s an old hoodie, corny gift, picture frame — if they gave it to you, it can go in the trash where it belongs. The best part is it’s all for a good cause (apart from getting that loser out of your life, that is). For each item dumped, Junk King’s Cincinnati’s owner, Jack Brendamour, will donate $1 to the American Heart Association — up to $500.
And if you bring items to dump, you will also receive candy, flowers and a free ax-throwing voucher for Full Throttle.
