Get that candy, kids!
The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is planning a number of trunk-or-treat events throughout the city this month.
To help protect your little ghouls and goblins, organizers will be practicing COVID-19 safety precautions, including limited capacities, sanitization stations and individually wrapped treats. Participants will go through a wellness check upon entry, and face coverings are required.

Here’s where you can find CRC’s trunk-or-treat events for 2021:
Oct. 22
- 6-8 p.m., Corryville
- 6-7:30 p.m., Pleasant Ridge
- 6:30-8:30 p.m., Bond Hill
Oct. 23
- 5-7 p.m., Clifton
- Noon-2 p.m., Price Hill
- 2-6 p.m., Westwood Town Hall
- Noon-2 p.m., Hartwell
Oct. 26
- 6:30-8 p.m., Mt. Washington
Oct. 29
- 4-6 p.m., Millvale
- 6:30-8 p.m., Madisonville
- 6-7:30 p.m., Evanston
- 7-8 p.m., North Avondale
Oct. 30
- Noon-3 p.m., Bush Parking Lot
Oct. 31
- 2-4 p.m., Over-the-Rhine at Grant Park
In addition, the Cincinnati Police Department will distribute candy 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, according to a press release. Perfetti Van Melle, based in Erlanger, donated 4,750 lbs of candy to the effort. The company owns brands such as Mentos, Chupa Chups, Fruit-tella, and Airheads.
