Norwood mixed-use development Factory 52 is launching a new fall festival this October.
Transforming Factory 52’s Eastern parking lot — in front of Fretboard Brewing — into Norwood’s very own pop-up amusement park, the House of Cards Carnivale is a five-day festival featuring rides, games, music, food and plenty of fall fun. The festival’s name is a nod to the site’s history as the United States Playing Card Company.
Attendees can expect both classic rides and games, as well as new ones like the Starship 2000. There will also be a lineup of live music and family-friendly entertainment like magicians, aerialists, balloon artists, face painters and clowns. Food and drinks from Factory 52’s The Gatherall food hall, plus Fretboard, Braxton Brewing and Aces Pickleball Bar + Grill, will also be available.
House of Cards Carnivale is happening Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 1-5. The event will take place rain or shine, and it’s free to attend. Ride tickets and carnival games will be available for purchase.
Factory 52, 4590 Beech St., Norwood. Learn more about the House of Cards Carnivale at facebook.com/events.
