Cincinnati Art Galleries is inviting lovebirds and art lovers alike to view over 100 American and European paintings from the late nineteenth century to the modern era.
The Fall in Love With Our Recent Acquisitions exhibition opens Friday, Feb. 13 — just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The Downtown gallery features a continuously changing array of American and European paintings.
Landscapes, cityscapes and marine scenes are featured in the gallery alongside figurative works and still lifes. Featured artists include Willard Metcalf, Homer Dodge Martin, Henry Ward Ranger, Alexander Wyant, Edward Moran, Frederick Waugh, Emile Gruppe, Louis Ritman and others.
Hours for the Feb. 13 exhibition opening are 5-8 p.m. The gallery is located at 225 East 6th St. in downtown Cincinnati. General hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4 p.m.; and Thursday from 10-6 p.m.
