Wine, local food and live music will take over the Purple People Bridge Sept. 12 for Brighton Center’s annual Wine Over Water fundraiser.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The evening pairs panoramic river views with a curated lineup of local food, wine and craft beverage vendors. Proceeds support Brighton Center’s programs helping families reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment and leadership across Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
Guests will sip and sample their way across the bridge with tastings from a lineup of local food and beverage vendors, including Alexandria Brewing Company, Center Table, Catering with a Purpose, City Barbeque, Gee’s Caribbean Kitchen, Modern Water, New Riff, The Little Spoon Cafe, Lumpia Queen, Newport Pizza Company, The Party Source, Tito’s Vodka, WX Brands, Revival Bottle Shop, and Stonebrook Winery.
The evening will also feature live performances from About Last Night and Seanti-Aeris.
“Wine Over Water is more than a memorable night on the bridge; it’s a celebration of community with purpose,” said President & CEO of Brighton Center Wonda Winkler. “Every ticket sold directly powers our work, from early childhood education and workforce development to housing and basic needs. When you join us on the bridge, you become an active partner in supporting thousands of local individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.”
General Admission tickets are available for $50 and include six food tasting tickets, six beverage tasting tickets and a commemorative tasting glass, with prices set to increase on Sept. 1. For groups, VIP Tables for two or four offer a private reserved table in a dedicated tented area for the entire evening, curated wines provided by The Party Source, a complimentary wine tumbler, heavy appetizers and full access to all food and beverage spots across the bridge.
