Whimsical cocktail bar Lost & Found, among other bars, restaurants and other Cincinnati attractions, was recently featured in the Esquire magazine show In Transit, during host and editor-at-large Dave Holmes’ visit to the Queen City.

In Transit  follows Holmes as he visits cities across the United States and their must-see spots. Each episode features a different location as Holmes interviews celebrity guests, with Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy featured in Cincinnati’s episode.

Lost & Found is a diverse cocktail bar in Over-the-Rhine that prides itself on being an open, welcoming destination for cocktails, food, art, wine, beer and tunes. In the eclectic space, you’ll often find locally made artwork filling the walls and a food and drinks menu that straddles the line between high-brow and neighborhood hangout.

“Being a little off the beaten path, we are honored to be mentioned by the Esquire itinerary-makers who handpicked us alongside other local businesses that will show Cincinnati visitors another side of the city than they might expect,” Steven Clement, co-owner of Lost & Found, said in a press release.

In the episode, Holmes highlights the cocktail bar’s curated playlist and innovative drinks.

“Make sure to order the drink ‘The Rich,’” says Holmes. “It’s minty; it’s chocolatey and, oh, it is so damn good.”

The never-disappoints food menu is another highlight, with Holmes recommending the Lost & Found gazpacho and grilled cheese.

Among Holmes’ other stops were vinyl record bar Hi-Fi, karaoke bar Tokyo Kitty, the American Sign Museum, Jamaican soul food restaurant and bar Flavors of the Isle, Findlay Market, shop Bee Haven and the Symphony Hotel.
