A fun and chill night of drinks, creativity and camaraderie with other people unafraid to draw outside the lines is returning to Over-the-Rhine bar Lost & Found this week.

The Pencil Pushers’ Drink and Draw event will be held Thursday, Oct. 19 from 7-11 p.m. Participants can grab a beverage, some snacks and some art supplies provided by Indigo Hippo (a nonprofit creative reuse store) and get to doodling on a collective piece of art.

Lost & Found says it first introduced the Pencil Pushers event in May as another way to live up to its artful sensibilities. The bar regularly features different local artists on its walls and menu.

“After a couple of events it’s become clear that as much as people come to be creative, they stay for the community,” Camilo Otalora, owner of Lost & Found, said in a press release. “As attendees doodle and experiment on the bar’s various surfaces covered craft paper, they are creating something ephemeral that invites them to focus on being in the moment.”

Drink and Draw is free and open to the public. Stop by Lost & Found a bit before the event to catch its happy hour from 4-7 p.m., which offers $5 wine, $3 Miller High Life and $6 beer and shots.
