Photos: Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures Puts Brookville Canoe Center Up for Sale

If you’ve ever wanted to get into the outdoor adventure business, now may be your chance. Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures announced last week that it had put its Brookville, Indiana, Canoe Center on the market after more than 54 years in business.

Earlier in January, Morgan’s also announced the closure of its Warren County facility, which was acquired by the Little Miami Conservancy for preservation under the direction of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Its Brookville location, however, is now for sale for $2.7 million through White’s Realty.

The Morgans say they will operate the Brookville location through the 2025 season as they look for a buyer.

“Morgan’s Brookville Canoe Center has been a place where memories are made for generations of families,” the Morgans said in a press release. “We’re excited to find the right buyer who shares our passion for the outdoors and conservation and sees the incredible potential this business holds.”

The Morgans’ Brookville Canoe Center is located along the scenic Whitewater River, and the property includes six parcels, five of which have riverfront access. The property offers a turnkey outdoor recreation business that includes a main lodge, cabins, acres of riverside camping and all equipment needed to operate the business, including canoes, kayaks, rafts, lifejackets, buses, trailers, and more.

According to the listing, Morgan’s Brookville location saw the most profit over the last five years and has built a large and loyal client base, making its potential for business growth strong.
