A new entertainment, food and drinks concept is coming to downtown Cincinnati later this year.
State of Play Hospitality, an international social entertainment company that has created several tech-enabled concepts, signed a lease for a space in 3CDC’s new mixed-use development in the former Saks Fifth Avenue building at 101 W. Fifth St. to bring “Social Darts” venue Flight Club to the Fountain District. The concept was originally founded in London in 2015 and blends the charm of Victorian fairgrounds with the warmth of a traditional pub, says 3CDC.
This will be the 12th North American location of Flight Club. The venue will feature nine private and semi-private playing areas, known as oches, that will be for its signature Social Darts gaming — proprietary darts technology with automatic scoring and multiplayer games for groups of up to 270 people. As with every Flight Club, the Cincinnati location will be individually designed, with a sophisticated and playful atmosphere and a menu of craft cocktails and elevated cuisine.

“We can’t wait to be part of the city’s growing entertainment scene,” Toby Harris, CEO of State of Play Hospitality, said in a press release. “At Flight Club, the heart of the experience is all about social connection — bringing people together to have fun and some friendly competition, as well as enjoy some great cocktails and delicious food.”
3CDC says Flight Club will add to the Fountain District’s growing roster of dining and entertainment spaces, further enhancing downtown Cincinnati’s reputation as a destination for vibrant social experiences. Flight Club will be located on the ground floor of the former Saks Fifth Avenue building, which will also be home to Paycor, as well as Chef Jose Salazar’s eponymous restaurant, which he moved from Over-the-Rhine at the beginning of 2024.
“Flight Club is an ideal addition to the Fountain District, serving as another engaging entertainment venue that complements the incredible collection of high-quality food and beverage concepts in the heart of downtown Cincinnati,” said Christy Samad, 3CDC’s executive vice president of Civic & Commercial Space Activation.
Flight Club Cincinnati is slated to open at the end of 2025. More info: flightclubdartsusa.com.
