Local ice cream chain Graeter’s, the oldest family-owned and operated craft ice cream maker in the country, is reintroducing one of its most popular flavors just in time for the spring.

Their “Strawberry Chip” ice cream, made with perfectly ripe, in-season strawberries and packed with Graeter’s traditional dark chocolate chips, returns this April and May.

If that’s not enough for you, Graeter’s is also offering a chocolate covered strawberry milkshake and a Strawberry All The Way sundae featuring strawberry chip ice cream, yellow shortcake, strawberry topping and chocolate sprinkles. Both combos are only available in stores while supplies last.

In addition, the chain is bringing back a special flavor to celebrate the return of the Flying Pig Marathon. Titled “Flying Pig Tracks,” it sports a vanilla ice cream base that’s swirled with rich chocolate fudge and is loaded with mini peanut butter cups.

Both flavors will be available by the scoop and by the pint at every Graeter’s location across the Tri-State area. Pints are also available for shipping and wherever you can buy Graeter’s in-store while supplies last.
