MadTree Brewing will open its newest ‘Alcove’ this month in Blue Ash’s Summit Park.
“Alcove-Summit Park” is MadTree’s fourth location, joining the flagship taproom in Oakley, the American bistro Alcove in Over-the-Rhine, and the restaurant and taproom Parks & Rec in Blue Ash.
Alcove, MadTree’s elevated American bistro concept, first opened in OTR in 2022 and is known for its fresh seasonal food, greenhouse bar and cocktails that sit alongside MadTree’s product offerings like craft beer and Sway canned cocktails. The second Alcove will be housed in the former Brown Dog Cafe space at 1000 Summit Place in Blue Ash, right in the heart of the area’s expansive Summit Park. The grand opening is slated for August 11.
“We can’t wait to welcome guests into Alcove-Summit Park to experience all of the thoughtful details put into our food, beverages, interior design and hospitality,” MadTree CEO Rhiannon Hoeweler said. “We’ve received great feedback with MadTree Parks and Rec in Blue Ash, and we can’t wait to showcase Alcove-Summit Park for more elevated date nights, celebrations and memory-making occasions.”
A portion of the restaurant’s revenue goes to Blue Ash Parks and Recreation to help maintain and sustain Summit Park — bringing genuine hospitality and an elevated American bistro to the edge of the 130-acre park while simultaneously giving back to the community.
