The Carnegie in Covington is hosting a lucky 13th birthday for its annual Art of Food celebration.
This one-of-a-kind culinary fete combines food, fun and art for an evening of culture and cuisine. Top local chefs from more than 20 area restaurants including Aflio’s Buon Cibo, Branch, Coppin’s, Frida 602, Lil’s Bagels, Red Feather and the BonBonerie will be on hand to provide tastings that elaborate on installations and performances from area artists like Cryptogram, Tony Dotson, Joe Girandola and Pones.
“The Art of Food has been continuously evolving since its inception 13 years ago,” said gallery director Matt Distel in a release. “On Feb. 22, artists and chefs will create a dynamic environment with visual art, performers, interactive installations, and, of course, food.”
The event will be spread through six galleries and a heated front tent. VIP tickets include lounge seating and complimentary beer and wine.
6-10 p.m. Friday (Feb. 22). $50; $35 members; $100 VIP. The Carnegie, 1028 Scott St., Covington, thecarnegie.com.
