Well holy shit, you guys.

The Cincinnati Bengals — the franchise that has been mocked for years, nearly as much as the Cleveland Browns have — are heading to the AFC Championship bout for the first time since 1988.

Just days after Bengals punter Kevin Huber penned a hopeful and emotional letter to Cincinnati, the Bengals beat the Tennessee Titans 19-16 on Saturday with a magical walk-off kick that further enhanced this squad's legendary status.

As four seconds ticked down to nothing at the end of the fourth quarter, rookie Evan McPherson kicked a 52-yard field goal to put the Bengals over the top. The movie-star ending happened even after quarterback Joe Burrow endured nine sacks throughout the game.
Apparently, McPherson had told the team that he'd make the kick, no problem.
The win against the Titans comes just a week after the team's can-you-believe-it victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card round.

The Bengals now advance to the AFC Championship round and will play the winner of the Jan. 23 Kansas City Chiefs/Buffalo Bills game. The championship is scheduled to take place on Jan. 30.

And if Cincinnati wins that one... no, wait, we can't jinx it. But you know. YOU KNOW.

To celebrate yet another Bengals victory, fans can get free Gold Star Chili on Sunday, Jan. 23. As the "Official Chili of the Cincinnati Bengals," Gold Star serves up a special deal every time the Bengals triumph in a home — or away — game. The day after the team wins, all Gold Star restaurants celebrate by giving away one free regular or super 3-, 4- and 5-Way with the purchase of another one. Aka BOGO 3-Ways.

The promo is available for drive-in, carry-out, dine-in and online; all you need to do is say "I want the Who-Dey Way special" when you order.
