One of Cincinnati’s most popular vendor markets is moving away from the street that made it famous.

From June through October, Art on Vine will actually take place in the heart of downtown at the recently-opened Elm Street Plaza as part of a ‘Summer Residency’ series.

The next Art on Vine, which takes place this Sunday at noon, will be the event’s final occurrence at Washington Park for the time being. This weekend’s version of the event is Mother’s Day themed, and will feature over 80 of Cincinnati’s best independent makers, artists and creators.

As usual, Art on Vine is free and family-friendly; this edition, however, is designed to be the ultimate, zero-stress celebration of moms, grandmothers and mother figures.

“We wanted to create an experience that feels less like a crowded event and more like a sanctuary,” says James Jenkins, Founder of Art on Vine in a statement. “Mother’s Day is about making memories. We’ve brought together the absolute best creative talent in Cincinnati so families can just show up, spend time together outdoors, and treat the moms in their lives to something truly unique.”

As part of a special Mother’s Day promotion, attendees can scan QR codes at participating vendor booths throughout the park for a chance to win $50 to spend on a beautiful gift for their mothers.
