New Riff Distilling has shared some of their fall-inspired cocktails for our readers to try at home. Both have bourbon, obviously, but one features a more apple-forward flavor and the other goes all-in on pumpkin spice.

Go get your cozy cocktail on.

HOW BOUT DEM APPLES

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Martinelli’s apple cider
  • 2 oz. New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon
  • .5 oz. cinnamon-sugar simple syrup*
  • .25 oz. lemon juice
  • .25 oz. Bragg’s apple cider vinegar
  • .25 oz. bourbon maple syrup
  • .25 oz. REAL brand apple syrup

Instructions: Make the cinnamon-sugar simple syrup first by heating equal parts cinnamon-sugar and boiling water. Stir to combine and let cool. Make the cocktail by shaking all ingredients together and straining into a highball glass filled with ice and half-rimmed with cinnamon sugar (you can use a little maple syrup to adhere if you like!). Garnish with a dehydrated apple disc.
