A Cincinnati restaurant group has announced the closure of two of its concepts and has abandoned a third that was set to open in January.
Pesola Hospitality Group shared on social media that it will be closing its Newport on the Levee restaurant, Amador Cuban, as well as the Bridgeview Food Hall at the Levee. And in December, Pesola also announced it would be closing its Pleasant Ridge chicken restaurant, Revolution Rotisserie, to rebrand to a fried chicken and drinks concept called Duke’s, but that will no longer be happening.
Nick Pesola, the owner of Pesola Hospitality Group, says they can no longer sustain business operations for these concepts due to challenges beyond their control. For the Newport concepts, that’s partially due to the fire that damaged the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge and shut down the southbound lanes in November.
The final day of service at Amador and the food hall will be Sunday, Jan. 19. Revolution Rotisserie had its final day on New Year’s Eve.
While Greater Cincinnati is saying goodbye to three Pesola dining concepts, Nick Pesola says their Over-the-Rhine burger and boozy milkshake joint, Milkman, will remain open.
“…as this chapter ends, we would like to reiterate our unwavering commitment and passion for the Milkman brand. No fear…Milkman will remain open, serving up the best juicy burgers and boozy shakes in town! We sincerely look forward to serving you at Milkman for many years to come and appreciate your loyal patronage,” Pesola wrote on social media.
