Fall is here and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Things will most likely be different this year as family dinners downsize to stay safe during the pandemic…and the crushing weight of the world makes preparing for one of America’s favorite holidays a little more strenuous. (LOL.)
During these “unprecedented times,” Cincinnati-based steakhouse chain Jeff Ruby’s is lending a hand to take some of the strain off of the forthcoming holiday. The eatery is now taking pre-orders for their Thanksgiving meal kits, which are precooked and prepared — all you have to do is warm them up on the stove and/or in the oven.
The kits serve 6-8 guests and come with: a 14-16 pound fresh pre-brined Heritage Breed Turkey with seasoned butter, herbs and roasting veggies; smoked turkey gravy; salted rye dressing; 80 Acres salad with beets, fall fruit, spiced walnuts and bleu cheese; creamy mashed potatoes; bourbon and brown sugar-glazed sweet potatoes; Jeff Ruby-style green bean casserole; cranberry-ginger chutney; sweet potato butter pie with pumpkin seed crumble and cranberry-orange sauce; Sixteen Bricks bread box; and Jeff Ruby’s truffle mushroom butter.
The meals are priced at $300 and limited. Place your pre-order by calling 513-762-0190 and pick up Thanksgiving week.
