One of Crown Restaurant Group’s (CRG) establishments has moved to a new neighborhood.
Latin restaurant Crown Cantina, now just “Cantina,” relocated from its space on E. Eighth Street in downtown to the former Nation Kitchen and Bar location on Broadway in Pendleton. It held a soft opening earlier this week and will hold its grand reopening Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
Cantina is best known for its authentic Mexican large plates and inventive mezcal cocktail program, and CRG says it’s bringing that same legendary flavor, vibrant energy, warm hospitality and elevated dining experience to its new Pendleton home.
“We’re incredibly excited to reopen Cantina in such a dynamic, walkable neighborhood,” Anthony Sitek, chef and founder of CRG, said in a press release. “This new space gives us the chance to refresh our offerings while staying true to what people love most — great food, great drinks, and great vibes. We’ve been welcomed into the Pendleton community with open arms, and we’re looking forward to becoming a vibrant part of the neighborhood’s energy and growth.”
In its new space, Cantina’s interior design blends earthy textures with Latin-inspired aesthetics, but guests can also have an open-air dining experience on one of the restaurant’s two outdoor patios. Cantina will also now offer expanded service hours and a new brunch menu. Brunch will be Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will feature fresh takes on Latin classics and brunch cocktails.
