A new concept from the restaurant group behind Cincinnati favorites like Losanti, Crown Cantina, Five on Vine and more is coming to downtown Cincinnati.

Crown Restaurant Group (CRG) announced Tuesday that it is opening a fifth restaurant in partnership with 3CDC at downtown Cincinnati’s mixed-use building The Foundry, across the street from Fountain Square. The restaurant will be located in a 3,600 square foot space on the ground floor along Fifth Street and is slated to open in the fall of 2024.

While CRG hasn’t announced the name of the restaurant yet, it says the concept will feature the group’s commitment to from-scratch food with comforting flavors that are approachable and make guests feel at home.

“From our humble start with Crown Republic Gastropub on Eighth and Sycamore, we’ve been slowly branching out and putting our own take on new culinary flavors,” CRG chef and owner Anthony Sitek said in a press release. “With our next restaurant we’re excited to showcase our best culinary talent in one of the city’s most exciting developments in the center of it all.”

CRG will join some other prominent names in Cincinnati’s culinary scene at The Foundry, including Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse and new concepts from both Thunderdome Restaurant Group (The Eagle, Pepp & Dolores, Bakersfield) and the owner of downtown sushi restaurant Baru.

“We’re thrilled to be working with another great operator in this prominent space at the heart of downtown,” Lindzie Gunnels, commercial leasing director with 3CDC, said in the release. “We’ve had the honor of partnering with Crown Restaurant Group on several concepts over the last five years, watching them grow into a brand known for top-tier hospitality and unique, scratch-kitchen eateries.”
