6 ‘N The Mornin’ is set to open at the Covington RiverCenter on July 11, two months after publicly announcing their move south across the Ohio River.
The restaurant was previously located on Madison Road in Cincinnati’s East Walnut Hills neighborhood. Prior to this, the space at 50 E. Rivercenter Blvd. was home to Honey Uninhibited, a Southern-style brunch restaurant owned by former Cincinnati Bengal Carlos Dunlap. The restaurant closed in late 2024.
6 ‘N The Mornin’s menu is oriented around breakfast items, such as pancakes, omelets and French toast, alongside dishes such as chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, salmon croquettes and steak and eggs.
“Our vision for this next chapter has always been to find a space where our kitchen can keep pace with our community’s appetite,” 6 ‘N The Mornin’ owner Trey Graham said in a news release. “Bringing our southern-inspired meals to RiverCenter perfectly aligns with our goal to expand our footprint, and we can’t wait to inject fresh energy into the Northern Kentucky riverfront.”
Corporex, a Covington-based commercial real estate firm and owner of the Covington RiverCenter, touted 6 ‘N The Mornin’s presence as a strategic addition to the overall development.
“The Covington business district has evolved into a premier hub for commerce, business, tourism, residential and dining,” Corporex Director of Sales & Leasing Bert Hehman said in the release. “The team at 6 ‘N The Mornin’ built an incredible, passionate following in Cincinnati, but ultimately needed a larger, state-of-the-art kitchen space to scale their operations and meet customer demand. RiverCenter offers them the perfect combination of footprint expansion and unmatched visibility to capture the booming Northern Kentucky market.”
The restaurant’s grand opening will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11. Its hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 7 a.m. to midnight Thursday through Saturday.
