One of BLINK’s most popular attractions is returning to the festival once again.

Asianati’s “Night Market,” which showcases Asian food vendors, cultural entertainment, local makers, art installations and family-friendly activities, will begin Oct. 8 and run nightly throughout the festival. The market will open each night on Court Street Plaza at 5 p.m., two hours before BLINK turns the lights on.

The free, four-night experience will feature 17 food vendors representing cultures and cuisines from across Asia and the Pacific Islands. Visitors can explore everything from authentic street food like Tanghulu & Momos to creative fusion dishes like a Chopped Cheese Banh Mi. Visitors can try Nepali, Filipino, Cambodian, Malaysian, Thai, Indian, Hawaiian and Taiwanese dishes, among others.

“Each time we bring Asianati Night Market to BLINK, we transform Court Street Plaza into a place that captures the feel, energy and spirit of night markets across Asia,” the market’s Director, Sarah Kramer, said in a statement. “This year, we’re building on that experience with even more food, art displays, cultural entertainment and family-friendly activities for the community to enjoy.”

Asian-inspired art displays will create an immersive atmosphere inspired by night markets across Asia. Asian cultural entertainment, including lion dances and taiko drumming, will take place throughout the event along with family-friendly games and hands-on activities. Last year’s fan favorite event, the Tokyo Kitty Cosplay Contest, will also return; attendees can dress as their favorite characters and compete for prizes.
