Walnut Hills is about to get a little bit sweeter with the addition of handcrafted donut and coffee lounge Hoity Toity Donuts.
The bakery is slated to open this fall and will be located at 2459 Gilbert Ave. on Paramount Square.
Hoity Toity Donuts is currently working out of their production kitchen, located at 7417 Hamilton Ave. in Mount Healthy, focusing on catering, special events and online orders. On Saturdays, they are open for walk-up orders from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The bakery, helmed by Cincinnati native Susan Coach, offers made-from-scratch, gourmet, small-batch donuts in addition to a coffee and beverage menu. The donuts use locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. Donut flavors rotate every month — with the exception of a few year-round favorites — but currently, the bakery offers seven different donuts, with a gluten-free and vegan option.
"Years have been spent perfecting every aspect of these delicious donuts to bring Cincinnatians a uniquely delicious donut experience," says Couch in a press release.
Donut prices range from $3.10-$4.75 and include options like the banana pudding with a 24-hour brioche and housemade banana cream pudding, topped with vanilla wafers, torched banana and vanilla bean Swiss cream or the raspberry lemonade with a lemon-infused cake donut, lemon-dusted raspberries, raspberry lemon glaze, lemon curls and a raspberry lemon curd.
On Wednesdays, customers can request fresh, made-to-order glazed donuts.
According to the site, the bakery requires a minimum order of one dozen donuts for pre-orders.
