Crown Restaurant Group’s newest concept makes ordering easy.
After closing down Five Kitchen and Bar earlier this year, CRG’s newest concept, Bar Rosso, will open soon in the same building. The menu is concise, offering several vermouth-based cocktails and just one food item: steak frites.
For a fixed price of $50, guests receive warm bread and a new “signature salad” to go with their steak tenderloin and unlimited fries. Cocktail options include negronis, gibsons and martinis elevated by unique vermouths from across the globe.
“With Bar Rosso, we wanted to build a menu that feels confident and complete rather than crowded,” said Chef Anthony Sitek, the co-owner of Crown Restaurant Group. “We’re going to execute what people enjoy the most – a perfect steak, frites, and a cocktail.”
Bar Rosso’s dishes are produced entirely from scratch; it will feature an in-house butchery, and fresh bread will be provided daily by the restaurant group’s central bakery.
“Anthony and I wanted to bring something sophisticated but relaxed to the heart of downtown Cincinnati — a place where guests can dress up for a special night out or stop in after work and feel just as comfortable,” said Haley Nutter-Sitek, co-owner of Crown Restaurant Group. “Bar Rosso is that elevated, easygoing escape we’ve always pictured.”

The Siteks currently operate the popular steakhouse Losanti in OTR and the restaurants Crown Republic Gastropub, Rosie’s Italian, Cantina and Marigold.
