The wait is nearly over: Popular milkshake and burger chain Shake Shack is finally opening its doors in Greater Cincinnati this fall.
Liberty Township approved a proposal to build a Shake Shack in early 2022, the first location in Greater Cincinnati and the ninth in Ohio. It’ll be located at 7669 Blake St. at the entrance of the Liberty Center and near Cabela’s and The Cheesecake Factory. It’s also the second Shake Shack location in Ohio to feature a drive-thru.
“We are thrilled to bring our first Shake Shack to the Cincinnati area in Liberty Center Township,” Andrew McCaughan, chief development officer of Shake Shack, said in a press release. “We are excited to welcome the community to this opening to enjoy our quality ingredients, exciting menu, warm hospitality, and the added convenience of Ohio’s second drive thru Shack!”
Shake Shack is best known for its hand-spun milkshakes, as well as elevated American classics like their made-to-order burgers, crispy chicken, crinkle-cut fries and signature Hot-Ones Spicy ShackSauce for those who need a little punch in the mouth with their meal. They also offer a Veggie Shack, as well as non-dairy shake and frozen custard options.
The Liberty Township location will offer both indoor seating and an outdoor patio for dining, and the drive-thru will have a digital menu board, a two-lane ordering system and a separate pickup window. An exact opening date has not been announced.
