Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist Courtney Barnett, who scored a Best New Artist Grammy nomination in 2016, is coming to Covington, Kentucky’s Madison Theater this summer.
Tickets for Barnett’s July 1 show go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com.
Barnett recently unveiled a new single titled “Everybody Here Hates You,” which will be available on 12-inch vinyl for Record Store Day this Saturday. She released her most recent album, Tell Me How You Really Feel, last year. The North American leg of her extensive world tour also includes appearances at Woodstock 50 and Bonnaroo, among other festivals.
Barnett has previously done some recording in Northern Kentucky, laying down backing vocals on The Breeders’ most recent album, All Nerve, at Mike Montgomery’s Candyland studios.
