Cincinnati rockers Leggy have just released a new music video for “Not What You Need,” one of the standout tracks from the trio’s full-length album debut, Let Me Know Your Moon, which was released on Sheer Luck Records in March.
The clip — shot in the basement of Over-the-Rhine club MOTR — was filmed and directed by Jo Shaffer and Spencer Peppet of The Opehlias.
Leggy — which, after the release of Let Me Know Your Moon, toured coast-to-coast and also did a run of shows in the U.K. — were nominated for a pair of Cincinnati Entertainment Awards this year, including Artist of the Year. (The CEA show is this Sunday at Memorial Hall.)
The band has two shows left on its 2019 schedule. On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the trio opens for Cloud Nothings at Woodward Theater. Then, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, Leggy plays at the Cincinnati Art Museum for one of the museum’s popular Art After Dark events. Wednesday’s AAD event is dubbed “Girl Power!” and patrons will be able to explore CAM’s “Women Breaking Boundaries” exhibit, part of the city-wide Power of Her arts initiative. Get more info here.
