Musician and cultural icon Erykah Badu is hitting the road on a world tour to celebrate one of the most iconic albums in her discography — with a stop at Cincinnati’s Andrew J Brady Music Center.

Badu will be bringing her tour, “The Return of Automatic Slim Tour: eryKah Badu Mama’s Gun ’25,” to the Andrew J Brady Music Center on Nov. 22.

The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of Mama’s Gun, Badu’s second studio album released in November of 2000. The album’s unique blend of neo-soul, hip-hop and jazz elements, combined with Badu’s signature voice and lyricism, has cemented it as of the most critically acclaimed R&B records of the 21st century.

According to a press release, the tour will include “reimagined arrangements” of popular songs from Mama’s Gun — like “Bag Lady,” “Didn’t Cha Know?” and “Cleva” — and other selections from Badu’s extensive catalog.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1 on ticketmaster.com and bradymusiccenter.com.
