The City of Covington is gearing up for Full Spectrum, an arts celebration that combines eight different events over the month of October. Residents and businesses alike have come together to create this Covington-encompassing gala. This Friday patrons can enjoy a Hyper Gallery Hop, where they tour the city viewing different art exhibits, and a cultural heritage tour, which has been two years in the making. Saturday the streets will be amuck with fairies and other magical beings as the Fantasy Fest Parade invades. People of all ages are invited to come out and celebrate everything out of this world. The weekend wraps up with the Ascent of Praise Festival, bringing together 10 gospel groups from around the area to create a heavenly musical experience. Other events this month include Art Off Pike, World Music Fest, a film festival, and the first annual Zombie Crawl on Halloween.
